With rising fuel prices it is tempting just to park your car up and use it only when essential, this will reduce your fuel bills but may have a detrimental effect on your exhaust.
For the health of your exhaust cars are better driven than not and longer journeys are better than shorter ones. Your exhausts will rot whether it is driven or not if the incoming air is at all damp. The journey needs to be long enough to dry out the internal exhausts or the moisture in the air will rot the inside.
GT Exhausts has eliminated using Rock Wool or E-Glass from their Premium range of exhausts thus reducing the drying out time and therefore necessary journey times to keep your exhaust working at the optimum.
GT Exhausts have reduced the amount of welds by using one piece tubing and ridge locking. Fewer welds mean less chance or corrosion.
